Permit tabled for recycling, repair business

Lake County Commissioners have tabled a permit request for a recycling and repair business north of Junius.

At Tuesday's commission meeting, attorneys on both sides of the issue presented testimony, and several facets of the topic were discussed.

The application for the conditional use permit was presented by Charlie Scholl, who previously operated a recycling and repair business in Winfred.

The property north of Junius meets county regulations, but the permit was recommended for denial by the Lake County Planning Commission in October.
