The Lake County Sheriff's Department reported that a pickup-motorcycle accident occurred Thursday on the divided highway east of Madison.
Dale Joseph Kostelecky, 53, was driving a 2000 Ford F250 owned by Land L Insulation Inc. of Rapid City east at about 4 p.m. when he attempted to turn north from the far right lane.
David Benjamin Otten, 49, of Edgerton, Minn., was driving behind the Ford pickup on a 1999 Harley-Davidson when Kostelecky attempted the turn. Otten could not stop and struck the driver's side of the pickup.
Damage to the pickup was estimated at $2,800.
Kostelecky was cited for driving under revocation and making an illegal turn.
